Project description

The project comprised replacing two old Hamworthy commercial gas fired cast iron sectional boilers and a gas fired water heater. In order to carry out this work the old boilers were replaced with two Baxi Quinta ACE gas fired condensing boilers complete with a new stainless steel flue system. The gas fired water heater was replaced with a Hamworthy Powerstock high recovery hot water cylinder which is now heated via the two new Baxi boilers.

This removed the risk of a breakdown on the water heater as well as reducing servicing costs with now only having two gas appliances to service. Whilst the work was being carried out we also took the opportunity of upgrading the heating control system with a new Mikrofil pressurisation unit and a gas monitoring system for the boiler room.
